As seen in Architectural Digest. Building Confidence article about Current Construction.

In our industry, we often see many safe bets. We see a lot of "standard operating procedures" and predictable finishes. But every once in a while, a project comes across our desks that demands more than just technical proficiency—it demands a bit of nerve.

One of our favorite construction projects featured in SHLTR Magazine, and looking at these photos, it’s easy to focus on the polished final product. But as the boots on the ground, we see something different. We see the late-night problem-solving, the precision required to pull off those "impossible" structural lines, and the unwavering commitment to a vision that many would have simplified for the sake of ease.

For us, "bold" isn't just a design aesthetic; it’s a logistical challenge. Whether it was planning or building, this project pushed our crews to think three steps ahead.

Building at this level isn't about following a set of drawings; it’s about a partnership between the architect's imagination and our ability to make it structurally sound without losing the soul of the design. When you see those [mention a specific feature from the project, e.g., floor-to-ceiling glass or raw concrete walls], you’re seeing hundreds of hours of coordination and a refusal to cut corners.

We take pride in the "tough" jobs. The projects that make people stop and look twice are the ones that remind us why we got into construction in the first place. It’s about leaving a mark on the landscape that says: We were here, and we built something that lasts.

A huge thank you to the visionary Form + Field design team and talented architect John Lum Architecture for trusting us to take this leap with them.
